Quality Inspector II

As part of a team, the Quality Inspectors are responsible for conducting testing procedures during, before, or after manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Perform inspection activities (using measurement equipment, gauges, CMM, noncontact measurement system etc.) to engineering specifications and standard operating procedures, to ensure product meets customer and industry requirements
Perform verification of paperwork, packaging and quantities to ensure customer and company requirements are satisfied
Maintain information and status within company data systems to ensure this remains up to data and accurate
Support problem investigation by ensuring clear and concise problem definitions are established when issues arise
Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Quality Certification Preferred
2 - 3 years of prior experience in inspection required
2 - 3 years working in manufacturing within a team
Strong attention to detail, communication and analytical skills
Basic to Intermediate computer skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role; lift up to 40 lbs. as neededEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
