You will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect any suspicious activity - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats - Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action - Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and granting or denying entry - Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises - Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- CPR and First Aid certification to provide immediate medical assistance if needed - Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment - Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and regulations - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Ability to maintain a high level of vigilance and attention to detail during surveillance activities - Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to property - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues Please note that prior experience is preferred but not required.
